Balance is the tenth studio album by American rock band Van Halen, released on January 24, 1995. The album features a mix of hard rock and ballads, showcasing the band's signature guitar-driven sound while also incorporating more melodic elements. It was the last album to feature lead vocalist Sammy Hagar, and it continued the band's tradition of combining high-energy rock with introspective lyrics. The album's production, handled by Bruce Fairbairn, includes some of the band's most mature songwriting, reflecting themes of love, loss, and personal struggle. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, Balance is noted for its standout tracks such as 'Can't Stop Lovin' You' and 'Don't Tell Me (What Love Can Do).
