El diablito is the second studio album by the Mexican rock band Caifanes, released in 1990. The album is recognized for its fusion of rock, new wave, and traditional Mexican music, which helped to define a unique sound that resonated with a wide audience. The band’s melancholic lyrics and haunting melodies, combined with the use of electric guitars and synthesizers, contributed to the album's significant impact on the Latin rock scene. Tracks like 'La negra Tomasa' and 'Afuera' became anthems and are still celebrated in contemporary Latin music.
