Foo Fighters have released their latest single, “Caught In The Echo,” offering another preview of their forthcoming studio album Your Favorite Toy.

The track serves as the opening song on the album and is described as a high-energy, explosive introduction that sets the tone for the band’s latest era. With driving guitars and an urgent vocal delivery from Dave Grohl, the song leans into a raw, back-to-basics rock sound reminiscent of the band’s earlier work.

“Caught In The Echo” is the third single released ahead of the album, following the previously unveiled track “Asking for a Friend” and the record’s title track.

The song appears on Your Favorite Toy, Foo Fighters’ 12th studio album, which is scheduled for release on April 24, 2026 via Roswell Records and RCA.

Recorded at the band’s home studio and co-produced with Oliver Roman, the album is expected to showcase a renewed, high-energy direction for the group. Early reports suggest a collection of fast, guitar-driven tracks that capture the intensity of the band’s live performances.

In a creative promotional move, the band also hid a number of handmade CD copies of the single—featuring artwork by Dave Grohl and his daughter Harper—across locations in California, turning the release into a scavenger hunt for fans.

With Your Favorite Toy on the horizon and a global tour already underway, “Caught In The Echo” signals another powerful chapter for Foo Fighters as they continue to evolve while staying rooted in their signature sound.
