The Pretty Reckless are officially back, ushering in a bold new era with the announcement of their fifth studio album, Dear God. Accompanying the news is the release of the record's lead single, "When I Wake Up," a high-octane track that sees the band leaning into a heavier, thrash-inspired sound.

Frontwoman Taylor Momsen described the new material as a cathartic evolution for the group. "This record is a bit of a scream into the void," Momsen shared. "We wanted to capture the raw energy of our live shows while pushing ourselves into faster, more aggressive territory. 'When I Wake Up' is the perfect introduction to that intensity."

Dear God serves as the follow-up to 2021’s critically acclaimed Death by Rock and Roll, which saw the band make history as the first female-fronted group to have back-to-back number-one singles on the Rock Radio charts.

To support the new release, the band has unveiled an extensive 2026 world tour. The trek will kick off in North America this spring before heading across the Atlantic for a string of UK and European dates throughout the summer. The tour promises a revamped stage production reflecting the gritty, visceral themes of the new album.

Fans can expect a setlist that balances the band's massive hits like "Heaven Knows" and "Take Me Down" with the debut of several tracks from Dear God.

"We’ve missed the road more than words can say," added guitarist Ben Phillips. "The energy of the new songs is meant to be felt in a room full of people. We can't wait to see everyone out there."

Dear God is scheduled for release on June 12 via Century Media Records. Tickets for the 2026 world tour go on sale to the general public this Friday, with various pre-sale options available for members of the band's official fan club.
