Atlases formed in 2015 in Portland, Oregon, initially as a side project for lead vocalist and guitarist Sam Harper, who was previously a member of a local indie rock band. The band quickly evolved into a full-fledged project, attracting attention with their unique blend of rock, pop, and electronic elements. After releasing their debut EP in 2016, they gained a dedicated following, leading to their first album release in 2018. Over the years, Atlases has toured extensively across the United States and Europe, building a reputation for their energetic live performances and thoughtful lyrics.
