Baton Rouge

Baton Rouge is an American hard rock band formed in 1988 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The band's original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Kelly Hansen, guitarist and backing vocalist David 'D' Dufresne, bassist and backing vocalist Anthony 'Tony' C. and drummer David 'Rudy' Rodriguez. They gained significant attention in the early 1990s with their blend of glam metal and hard rock, characterized by catchy hooks and powerful guitar riffs. The band released their debut album, 'Shake Your Soul,' in 1990, which garnered a following and led to tours with notable acts like KISS and Skid Row. Despite a series of lineup changes and a decline in mainstream popularity by the late 1990s, Baton Rouge continued to release music and perform live, maintaining a loyal fanbase throughout the years.

Baton Rouge's sound is heavily influenced by 1980s glam metal giants such as Mötley Crüe, Poison, and Cinderella, as well as classic rock bands like Aerosmith and Van Halen.
