Shades of Dusk

Shades of Dusk formed in 2015 in Seattle, Washington, when guitarist Alex Reed and vocalist Mia Tran decided to collaborate after meeting at a local music festival. The band's lineup was solidified with the addition of bassist Jake Collins and drummer Sarah Patel. Their debut EP, 'Twilight Reflections', was released in 2016 and garnered attention for its unique blend of alternative rock and dream pop. They gained a following through extensive touring across the Pacific Northwest and gradually expanded their reach nationwide. In 2019, they released their first full-length album, 'Echoes of the Night', which solidified their presence in the indie music scene. Since then, they have continued to evolve their sound, exploring new genres and themes in their music.

Shades of Dusk draws inspiration from a variety of musical genres and artists. Their sound is heavily influenced by the atmospheric qualities of bands like Radiohead and The xx, as well as the lyrical depth of artists such as Florence and the Machine and Bon Iver. Shades of Dusk has released three EPs and two full-length albums as of October 2023. They have toured extensively across the United States, participating in several music festivals, including Coachella and Lollapalooza. Their music has been featured in various TV shows and films, notably in the soundtrack for the indie film 'Lost in Reflection'. The band is known for its engaging live performances and has built a dedicated fanbase through social media and streaming platforms.
