Sick Puppies is an Australian rock band formed in 1997 in Sydney. The band initially consisted of guitarist and vocalist Shimon Moore, bassist Emma Anzai, and drummer Mark Goodwin. They gained fame in the early 2000s with their energetic performances and a sound that blended alternative rock and post-grunge elements. The band's breakthrough came with the release of their second album, 'Dressed Up as Life' in 2007, featuring the hit single 'All the Same,' which gained significant airplay and was used in various media, including a viral video that spread awareness about the plight of a puppy named 'Lucky.' Over the years, the band has experienced lineup changes, with Moore departing in 2014, and has continued to produce music with new members, including singer and guitarist Bryan Scott.
