Token Entry

Token Entry is an American punk rock band formed in 1986 in New Jersey. They emerged from the East Coast hardcore scene and quickly gained recognition for their energetic performances and socially conscious lyrics. The band's initial lineup featured vocalist Chris 'Crispy' Mclaughlin, guitarist and backing vocalist Ed 'Ski' Hannan, bassist and backing vocalist Paul 'Punk' Ahlstrom, and drummer Dave 'Davy' Rainey. They released their debut EP, 'Token Entry,' in 1988, followed by their full-length album 'What We Are' in 1991. The band went on to tour extensively throughout the 1990s, contributing to the underground punk scene before disbanding in 1996. They reunited several times in the 2000s and 2010s, continuing to perform and release new music. Their sound blends elements of hardcore punk with melodic influences, making them a unique presence in the genre.
