The Boo Radleys

The Boo Radleys are an English alternative rock band formed in 1988 in Wallasey, England. The band originally consisted of vocalist and guitarist Sice, guitarist and backing vocalist Martin Carr, bassist and backing vocalist Timothy Brown, and drummer Rob Cieka. They gained prominence in the early 1990s with their blend of shoegaze, Britpop, and psychedelic influences, particularly with the release of their critically acclaimed album 'Giant Steps' in 1993. The band's name is derived from the character Boo Radley from Harper Lee's classic novel 'To Kill a Mockingbird'. After several lineup changes and a shift in musical direction, the band disbanded in 1998 but have since reunited for various performances and special events.
