Elvenking

Elvenking is an Italian folk metal band formed in 1997 in Sacile, Italy. They were founded by guitarist Aydan and drummer Zender, who were joined by vocalist Damnagoras, bassist K. (later replaced by Jakob), and keyboardist and flutist T. (later replaced by the current keyboardist, who also contributes to vocals). The band quickly established a unique sound that blends elements of folk music with heavy metal, characterized by the use of traditional instruments such as flutes and violins along with electric guitars. Their debut album, 'Heathenreel', was released in 2001, receiving positive reviews and helping to solidify their presence in the metal scene.
