Architects

Architects is a British metalcore band formed in 2004 in Brighton, England. The band's lineup was initially comprised of brothers Dan and Tom Searle, along with bassist Alex 'Ali' Dean, guitarist Tim Hillier-Brook, and drummer Matt Johnson. After several lineup changes and the departure of Hillier-Brook, the band settled on a lineup that included guitarist Adam Christianson and drummer Dan Searle. They gained significant attention with their debut album, 'Nightmares', released in 2006. Over the years, Architects have evolved their sound, incorporating elements of progressive metal and post-hardcore. Tragically, co-founder Tom Searle passed away from cancer in 2016, which deeply affected the band and spurred them to continue making music in his honor. Their discography includes several critically acclaimed albums, showcasing their growth and experimentation with heavier and more complex themes.
