Agalloch

Agalloch was formed in 1995 in Portland, Oregon, by guitarist and vocalist John Haughm, alongside drummer Aesop Dekker and bassist Jason William Walton. The band gained prominence in the early 2000s with their unique blend of black metal, folk, and post-rock influences. Their debut album, 'Pale Folklore', released in 1999, showcased their atmospheric sound and lyrical themes centered around nature and melancholy. Over the years, Agalloch developed a cult following, known for their immersive live performances and the ability to create a rich auditory landscape.
