Stream of Passion

Stream of Passion was formed in 2001 by Dutch guitarist Arjen Anthony Lucassen and Mexican vocalist Marcela Bovio. The band originated as a project that aimed to combine elements of progressive rock, metal, and classical music. After releasing their debut album 'Embrace the Storm' in 2005, which garnered critical acclaim, the band gained a dedicated following. Over the years, they underwent several lineup changes, with Bovio remaining a constant presence. The band continued to release albums and tour internationally until they announced an indefinite hiatus in 2016.
