UNISON SQUARE GARDEN is a Japanese rock band formed in 2004 in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture. The band consists of three members: vocalist and guitarist Tomoya Sugiura, bassist and backing vocalist Sakaguchi Shuntarō, and drummer and backing vocalist Kōhei Ueno. They began their career by performing at local venues and quickly gained attention for their energetic performances and catchy melodies. In 2007, they released their major debut single 'Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari,' which was used as an ending theme for the anime 'Baka and Test: Summon the Beasts.' This exposure helped solidify their place in the J-Rock scene.
