Blasphematory is a death metal band formed in 2010 in Los Angeles, California. The band was created by guitarist and vocalist John 'Blasphemer' Smith and drummer Mike 'The Hammer' Johnson, who sought to create music that combined the intensity of classic death metal with modern production techniques. After recruiting bassist Laura 'The Beast' Hernandez and guitarist Paul 'Grim' Reed, they released their debut album 'Ritual of Chaos' in 2012, which immediately garnered attention in the underground metal scene.
