The band was created by guitarist and songwriter Jake 'Razor' Thompson and drummer Alex 'Thunder' Brooks, who sought to revive the classic heavy metal sound with a modern twist. After several lineup changes in their early years, they solidified their lineup in 2013, which included bassist Lisa 'Dynamo' Chen and lead vocalist Mark 'Grim' Hargrove.
