In 2006, they expanded to include drummer Aki and later, in 2011, added guitarist and backing vocalist, Yu. SPYAIR gained mainstream popularity with their single 'Samurai Heart (Some Like It Hot!!),' released in 2011, which was used as the opening theme for the anime series 'Gintama.'
