Junip

Junip is a Swedish indie folk band formed in 1998 in Gothenburg. The band consists of José González, Elias Araya, and Tobias Winterkorn. Initially, Junip began as a solo project for González, who later decided to collaborate with Araya and Winterkorn to create a fuller sound. After releasing a series of EPs and singles, the band went on a hiatus while González pursued his solo career, which included the critically acclaimed album 'Veneer'. In 2013, Junip released their self-titled album, marking their return and solidifying their place in the indie music scene.
