Divididos

Divididos is an Argentine rock band formed in 1988 in the city of Hurlingham, Buenos Aires. The band was created by former Sui Generis guitarist and vocalist, Ricardo Mollo, and drummer, Catriel Ciavarella, after the dissolution of their previous band, Las Pelotas. The original lineup also included bassist Diego Arnedo. Divididos gained popularity for their unique blend of rock, folk, and Argentine musical styles, often referred to as 'power folk.' The band's name, which translates to 'Divided,' reflects their diverse musical influences and the different backgrounds of its members. They became known for their energetic performances and socially conscious lyrics, quickly establishing a dedicated fan base. Over the years, Divididos has undergone several lineup changes, with Mollo and Arnedo remaining as the core members.
