LáGoon is an indie rock band formed in 2015 in Portland, Oregon. The band originally started as a duo consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Alex Morales and bassist Sarah Trent, who began writing music together in a local coffee shop. They quickly gained a following after releasing their debut EP 'Tides' in 2016, which showcased their unique blend of surf rock and atmospheric sounds. As they transitioned to a full band, drummer Jake Reynolds and keyboardist Mia Chen joined in 2017, completing the lineup. Their first full-length album, 'Echoes of the Shore', released in 2018, received critical acclaim and helped solidify their place in the indie music scene.
