Alexander David Turner (born 6 January 1986) is an English singer, songwriter and guitarist, and the frontman of the rock band Arctic Monkeys. He is known for his lyricism ranging from kitchen sink realism to surrealist wordplay, which has been praised by music critics. All but one of Turner's studio albums have topped the UK Albums Chart.
