William Leslie Johnson (born November 10, 1954) is an American university administrator, businessman, and former politician who has served as the tenth president of Youngstown State University since 2024. A member of the Republican Party, he was the U.S. representative for Ohio's 6th congressional district from 2011 to 2024.
Born in Roseboro, North Carolina, Johnson entered the United States Air Force after graduating from high school in 1973.
